Strategy Alignment Framework
In this phase, we align the client’s strategic goals with the four Balanced Scorecard (BSC) perspectives, translating strategy into clear and measurable
objectives.
Examples of alignment across the four perspectives:
- Financial: sustainability, ROI, cost efficiency, optimization, and growth
- Customer: satisfaction, retention, experience, and brand value
- Internal Processes: efficiency, compliance, and innovation,
- Learning & Growth: people, skills, systems, and culture
We also consider customization based on the client’s sector and strategic context, such as:
- Corporate: shareholder value, market expansion
- SME: cash flow priorities, local customer base development
- Public Sector/NGOs: social impact, service delivery, accountability
Throughout the alignment process, we will:
- Work with the leadership team to clarify the vision, mission, and strategic themes.
- Map strategic objectives across the four BSC perspectives.
- Develop a comprehensive strategy map showing cause-and-effect linkages.
- Tailor the emphasis based on client type (e.g., corporates may prioritize financial outcomes, while NGOs may emphasize impact and service delivery).
